Year 6 Prayer Experiences

Year 6 have been learning about prayer this term in Religious Education. They have been exploring how they deepen their relationship with God through prayer. They have engaged in many prayer experiences and took this learning to create their own prayers. On Friday of last week they shared their prayer experiences with their Kinder buddies. Some of these experiences involved colouring, singing, making things and Rosary beads. All the Kinder students were very engaged and had a very special experience with their buddies.

Well done, Year 6.  Thank you for sharing the love of God, through your prayer experiences with your buddies!

Year 4 - Faith in Action

Year 4 were very excited for the opportunity to visit with the residents of Mary’s Grange (St Joseph’s Aged Care). Year 4 had written letters and prepared songs to share with the residents, unfortunately though, circumstances changed at the nursing home and we were unable to attend our scheduled visit.

Year 4 requested that their letters were sent down to the residents in Week 8 to cheer them up and this week we received replies! Year 4 were very excited to share their letters with each other and we are so proud of their dedication to developing relationships with people in our community. Here are some photos of Year 4 reading their letters.

We hope to continue this friendship into next term. Year 4 - thank you for being the face of Jesus!

Fairy Garden - Year 2

Thank you and congratulations to Nahri, Willow, Teilani and Zarli in Year 2 and the wonderful Mrs Mac and her Year 6 helpers, for our brand new fairy garden that has been under construction for the last two weeks. The girls will open the garden on the first day back and will have some fairy colouring sheets at lunch and recess to celebrate. Thank you girls and Mrs Mac!

This weekend we will celebrate a Liturgy of the Word and Holy Communion instead of a full mass as Father Peter is unwell. Please keep him in your prayers. He will be back for the Mass of the Annointing next Friday.
